He would fit in well in our new 4-6-0 formation

Town captain Jon Walters is reported to have asked for a transfer. The 26-year-old has been tipped for a move away from Portman Road all summer with QPR and Stoke both linked.

Did hear the other night that we had a £2.5million bid turned down but did not take much notice of it as I cannot see us spending that much for a long time yet if ever

Always liked him, seen him a couple of times and has a friend that supports the Tractor Boys. Great potential and would fit perfectly, as a winger, in to the 4-3-3 formation we prob will be using this season. Works hard, quite fast and strong. Know what u get from him. Still only 26. Surprised if Ipswich would let him go. Think he would be a better choice, over a whole season, than Taraabt.

I'd be pleased with him as he's a quality player, but for £2.5m, we can buy a goal scorer. Still, you can't turn your nose up at a player of his calibre.

He's a striker who's played on the right wing. Definitely one of those used in a three pronged attack. It really looks like NW is planning to play this formation.
