i assertained as to the general concensus of the board a while back reguarding our views if we were to sign lee hughes despite his serving a sentance for criminal act ....i was given short shrift and the demonisation of hughes by many was im my honest opinion a tad over the top but i respected each and everyones own personal take on the matter hereafter the fact!....the justical system in this country is blighted by deep seated hypocricy and inconsistant sentancing wherebouts a certain degree of over zealous hysterior can be occassioned!

Lee Hughes took life and therefore i believe he shouldn't have been let back into the game. King treated a women like a bitch for 1 night and then went to prison and most likely got treated like a bitch for 9 months; i think he has learnt his lesson and paid his debt.

Well said Yugo a man who talks sense. To be honest to many on here take the moral high ground where I'm sure like myself 99% of people no at least 1 person who has belted a bird, done drugs, robbery etc etc still alright to pal around with though & booze eh!!

he's the same ****bag, he's just doing something he enjoys doing and getting paid a massive amount of money for it while being cheered and idolized by young fans
He should never be allowed to play pro football again and its a disgrace the Football League allow him to do so
If he was a teacher or anybody who worked with or near kids he wouldnt be allowed to anymore

just for argument sakes say it was messi/Rooney etc ilk who had his record {criminal] but were mustard on the pitch.How many people then would have diffrent opinions of signing them saying they had been sacked etc.
