In my opinion Yes we should have, as explained he is a "battering ram " type centre half with pace and we have no other like him at the club.

I liked Stewpeas but he had his faults, but at the end of the day we have great cover at CB and we desperately needed a quality RB, so in a realistic world it was a deal that needed to be done. Would have preferred it to be Hall but his wages make him a non starter for most of the CCC.RIP: Doug, Sniffer and PatComment

As Warnock says the offer was there from Bristol City and because he is happy with the options he has it was a good idea to take it. If the figures muted are accurate then we've finally signed a proper right back for the tiny sum of about £100k.
