Stewart, the 6ft 3in Jamaican international centre-half, arrives from QPR for an undisclosed fee as part of the deal which saw right-back Bradley Orr move in the opposite direction last night.

They seem to think Orr came to W12 last night.

This time last weekend hardly anyone knew that Stewart was going to be off to Bristol City. Within a week he has been signed, sealed and delivered.

With QPR we have these rumours dragging on for weeks every time. Would be nice to hear a report in the paper on a Monday that we are interested in someone and by Friday it's a done deal.
