Isn't this the type of player we should be after? Not Mcanuff who is 28 and is not all that according to reading fans. Should be quite cheap aswell, which would suit our board.

Matt is highly rated by Gary Waddock but if there is any club Waddo would sell to it is us. With regard to McAnuff, he is a decent player in the CCC but I don't think he is worth £1.5m and deffo not worth anymore. If we are thinking of spending that sort of monet I would prefer Tommy Smith and Phillips for the future.
