I'm sure the huge salary that he earns is easing the pain though?

Like it or not, that's how the rest of the league views our position and it has an impact on how they negotiate with our Board. I think it's fair to say that our Board's unmillingness to spend big is, in part, due to this and also due to other factors. But for this "part", I for one do not subscribe to the "it's only money, you have loads of it so spend it on an overpriced nobody just because of the message board wannabe's" method...............and would rather see them spend a little on some young potential talent rather than waste it on journeymen via money grabbing agents.
Oh, and for the record, I still want them to "speculate that money" on Adam La Fondre
