    Rowlands V Ambrose

I'm pleased to hear Martin is looking fit again!(not in a gay way) On his day fit and on form I'd have him over Ambrose all day long!

Agreed. Rowlands a couple of seasons ago was (in my biased opinion) the best midfielder in the league. I'd rather have Martin out there than "One Season Wonder Boy". Feel free to disagree but I think he is this divisions Scott Parker.

disagree. id have ambrose over rowlands, purely because i feel rowly's injuries are going to be too much.

rowlands on his day is better than ambrose but having martin for a whole season is near enough impossible.

Considering Rowlands and Ambrose are both very different

          Things in common...

          1. They CAN play in the same position

          Things not in common

          1. Rowlands is a ball winner
          2. Rowlands can support the defence
          3. Rowlands is a captain and integral part of the team with passion
          4. Rowlands will play killer balls ... Ambrose will cross more balls in

I would o still liked Ambrose though

            6. Ambrose more creative
            7. Ambrose doesn't get injured as often

haha ok but, the point was, they are both different players, Rowlands doesnt need pace doing the job he does for us...

Again, he is, well more of a striker and therefore is expected to score goals... Rowlands scores his far share..

rowlands is a box-to-box midfielder. ambrose is more attacking. ambrose would be expected to get more goals than rowly does, but he has only done that in one season.

If rowlands can stay fit he can be a good squad player. Unfortunately, i feel injuries have got the better of him. Shame it has to happen to two top men like cook and rowlands...

Age and injuries have caught up with Rowlands unfortunately.Quality player in his prime though.

Today i would have Ambrose because he is young and fit.(oo err missus!).
