Yes - it certainly helps.Getting one in though, is a different question.Every season...same names are banded about.

But no - not essential.Having good back up helps.

Busting the banks to get Roy of thee Rovers is great but if injured or suspended...you are left with Peggy from eastenders.

Rotation of 3-4 decent strikers, plus plenty of goals from elsewhere on pitch.
At moment....we have Buzz, Hogan pre season has done well, faurlin although great prospect needs to up his goalscoring....so we have serious problems with getting goals from outside our forwards.

Yes we do and have done for some time.

Can't remember us having a striker capable of troubling our record books for some time. Think our last three strikers to hit 50 goals for us were Furlong, Gallen and Ferdy. Pretty sure Sirpie could give more accurate stats. Would be great to have a striker who can stay around long enough to get anywhere near that total.
