we have come on in massive stirdes. this club is healthier than it has ever been. we have a great squad and are now only three players away from one of the best sides in the championship.
this board have done it slowly but surely and this is our year to go up, we were not ready in any of the other seasons so it would of been foolish to go to quick.
now we march on to the premiership with a great team and a manager who will take us there and then stay with us when we get there..

think about it, everything i have written is true. so many clubs going to the wall. so many premiership clubs cannot afford a single player without selling (wolves & blackburn for example), we have brought a keeper and a winger and now a top defender, and are still trying to pay 1.5 million for another winger and with a striker and midfielder still to come.
How many other clubs in the country have the luxury of being able to do that?
we are sitting very bloody pretty me old mate, learn to enjoy it.

GTP. I am almost convinced. If we do actually have that "top defender" (I assume that is young Orr you have in mind is it?), get another "rated £1.5 million winger" (but if that is McAnuff I fear that is full fat rumour rather than fact so not getting hopes up) and get a [quality] midfielder and striker then all of this optimism may be well placed. But we can';t get away from the fact that at the moment (which is the only way to answer the question) we stand well short of all of that. Putting your post the other way it shows that we are about 4 players and >£6m in expenditure away from being a good team. Personally I can't get too excited till I see the names on the back of the programme. At the moment mine says Clarke is our only striker.

stan mate, once a player says (like mcanuff has said) that he wants to join aclub, and that club are willing to pay for him, they will DEFFO join the club. its going to happen, i would bet my balls on it mate

The reason why you should ban the palace fans is because every thread turns into a argument about Palace and QPR.

One of the Palace fans makes a comment to annoy and then people take the bait and it snowballs.
