Offering 20k a week to an average player after just coming out of administration isn't the smartest of moves tbh. I personally would like Ambrose to stay with you, as I don't want us giving him 20k a week, one good season doesn't make you a great player. We have made this mistake already with Vine who is on the same amount of money came in on loan was good, signed permanently was crap and has been for two years. I'd rather we gave Josh Parker an improved deal in all honesty and hope to god we get in three strikers.

Buzz and Ambrose could get 30-40 goals between them if they gel play to their abilities and if formations go down the same route they did in the world cup, on occasions there will be 5 in the middle with 1 up front, so goals from midfield become as important.

Reason that it hasn't all been tied up yet is because of the football league ruling and that we need to wait untill after friday which is when the cva will pass without appeal and then we will be on the road to officially leaving administration which should be around 25-28 July, untill that date we canl;t register new players or new contracts for players.

Also, I know Darren on a personal level, not just as a supporter, also his family and from day one, unless asked to leave Darren, hasn't wanted to leave Palace so it's not just him saying the things to make it sound good to supporters.

People will say Warnock got him playing which is true yes, but he still continued to perform consistently well after he left and still scored a good number of goals under Paul Hart.

Infact, Darren was one of the Palace players who felt very let down by Warnock for jumping ship at his first opportunity despite telling all the players in January to reject any possible moves and to all stick together, the players did this, Warnock did not!

I think another telling matter is if Warnock and Jones are convinced Darren doesn't want to be at Palace then surely by now he would have put in a transfer request?

As stated before guys, im not here to argue with anyone and just saying my piece but i just wish the matter would sort itself instead of it keep resurfacing every week.

He had a medical with us and pretty much agreed to move.

The only thing missing was his sig on the dotted line.

I doubt that he is the one cancelling the gentlemans agreement. That would be your new owners.

weare, they seem to think they have money now... They will be cost cutting and working out how to survive on 13k crowds, not offering 20k a week contracts with big bonus's like we probably are!!
