OK, flip that one over-what if Liverpool were offering 60k a week, and Spuds 100k. Me-I would still go to Liverpool for all of the reasons you listed above.

Yeah, but right now, Spurs are clearly a better club to be at for footballing reasons:

Champions League (it's only a qualifier, but it is still a better shot at the Champions League than Liverpool)

Better Chance of qualifying for the champions league this season - Liverpool finished a deserved 7th last season.

Better quality football - liverpool are DIRE at the moment

Better SQUAD - Spurs have quality throughout, Liverpool have a couple of bright stars and a whole bunch of sh*t

Better Manager - Hodgson is good adn did an impressive job with Fulham, but Redknapp is better, and the expectations are going to be massive on Hodgson, whom many Liverpool fans have already complained isn't a big enough manager...

More settled team - Liverpool require a massive rebuilding job, Redknapp has a very settled side.

All this chat about biggest and most succesful club in the country is for the birds - Liverpool have not won a title in the modern era, and aside from a fluke in 2005, are trading clearly off past glories.

to be fair to him benny lets say Liverpool are offering 100k a week, and say spuds 60k a week & CL footy.

If I was him I would also go liverpool. Spurs may not even be good enough to qualify for the CL looking at the teams who also have to qualify. so I would look at it like this:

100k a week
One of the biggest teams in the world
playing for the kop
Gerrard & Torers in my team
Most succsesful english club

Now apart from MAYBE CL footy what can attract me to spurs?

Money doesn't buy you happiness,but it helps.Lack of money can put a hughe strain on a relation ship - but if a relationship is built on money, then it is doomed.Money is at the root of all evil....Only power is worse than money.
