    Lee cook

I think that we need to get rid of him asap. He is such a nice bloke and he loves the club but if we want to get to the premiership we need to leave sentiment behind. When he went to fulham he must have been on 20k + wages. He must be on 10k with us and the fact that we paid over a million means he has to be one of the worst signings we have made (bringing him back from fulham) in a business sense post-takeover. Love the bloke but his knee is shot, he is on good wages and we paid a good fee for him. Feel sorry for him and have spoke to him in the past and he is a lovely bloke, but we need to free up some wages and regrettably bringing back Cookie has been a very bad decision.

Stick by him, and get his knee better.
People forget this guy gave us 250 grand when we were down and out.

He is a Ranger and I fully expect us to stick by him, like he did us.

I can see both arguments. If I actually believed we would spend the money if he was ousted to free it up I would go along with Del, but on the basis that if we did let him go we probably wouldn't get anyone better I say he deserves to stay on the grounds that he gave us £250k when we needed it most.

Lee Cook will always be a Hoops legend for what he did, to cast him aside just because he is always injured isn't fair. With the money the club has now I don't see a problem. I'm sure he has plenty to offer the club with coaching, youth team, reserves etc

LEE COOK helped save our club

Because he help save our club when things were very dire, for that reason he is a legend.

how many footballers would give away their signing on fee to help their club?

most would rather by a new car

he had the choice save his boyhood club or buy a ferrari

                  made the right one

Well its true he did give up his 250 K, but, people forget it was so he could leave and join Fulham on quadruple wages.. Hes been a good player for us over the years though and its not his fault he is always picking up injuries. We will have to stick by him ,but not because he is a 'legend' because he is contracted to us and he happens to be one of us as well , a fan.
