You are entitled to an opinion and before the normal verbals that will be thrown at you, I have to say you have a point.

We have failed to buy Tarrabt and Ambrose. Its fair to say we brought in the worst of the Palace players, (even though pre-season they have been good), fact remains we should have been going for Speroni, Clyne and the other one with dreadlocks (name escapes me), and the ones we have are hardly going to make Palace a weaker team. It was obvious when Warnock took over he was very insistent to the fans he couldn't wait to bring in the players he wanted and have to say thus far its very disappointing. Its no conicidence that those comments were made around the time of season tickets being advertised.

We had a 15 A season goalscorer in Simpson, who is another that has not been replaced and you only have to look at Mackies and Clarkes records to see that

End of the day expectations is lower from many supporters, saying that another 3 weeks to go before the season starts, so you never know

Very good post Pete and you have pointed out how underwhelmed most fans feel oh and its Danns, although wasn't interested in many palace players as Neil got them playing above themselves. Players from west brom like Bednar etc SHOULD be the targets!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

            Dunno, really don't know.

Wouldn't swap places with the likes of Palace, Watford or Pompey, but would like to see a few more buys.

How do you trust someone who is a proven liar in the past, and who has already lied to you?

Has Ambrose signed his new Palace contract yet?

Well he probably did think it was his last job in football until they stupidly called in the Administrators and deducted them 10 points. Can't say I would be surprised - as you seem to be - if he left in those circumstances.

THIS should be his last job in football but only because he'll be pushing 65 when his contract expires. But knowing how we've been run, I wouldn't put money on him lasting till the end of his contract but here's hoping.
