I was there, travesty of the highest order. My dad took me as i was only 12 at the time he's an Arsenal fan and wanted us to win nearly as much as i did. He hates Tottenham with a passion and since then I do to. Not bitter or anything !!!

I was in there for the Fulham trip, we walked down from there and all you saw was Rangers. We then walked into their end waited on the corner and walked into the middle, which by the time we got there was empty.Originally posted by HammersmithR View PostGreat pub!

London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

My cap and flag went up in the air when we levelled the score, but never came down again.......not to me anyway!!!Originally posted by kingo View PostI could quite easily have been one of about 30 in the pic with the 1982 Cup Final, blue and white cap on, still got mine in pride of place.I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!

Can't actually figure where that picture is taken. Lacks a landmark to help fix it. But just looking at it makes me glow!
Of course I was there for both games, as I'd expect is true of everyone on here who was old enough to have gone or to have been taken.
I've said this on here before but my abiding memory is tens of thousands of rangers singing "we're proud of you" at the end of both games. Even more poignant after we'd lost!

Still got the Red final shirt which i wore for both games, my mum washed and ironed it again many years later and it now has an iron burnt stain on, ruined it, have never forgiven her but i'd never throw it away it is my piece of QPR History.Originally posted by Scarlet pimple View PostStill got me 82 flag somewhere.Queens Park Rangers

No conspiracy im afraid,in those days the final was usually awarded to a ref that was finishing his career.Originally posted by kingo View PostMany believe the Ref was nobbled, some very strange decisions in that replay and all against us and he apparently never reffed again.
Oh yes i was there as well.
