Rumors on new training ground...

Has anyone else herd of the supposed new training ground for the season after next? Apparently its to be in the Northwood, Ricky area, and will be ours and ours alone, and we are to reinstate our academy as well, hope this is true, has anyone else herd of this move? Big plans for the future and i hope it happens.

there was talks that qpr were looking at training ground in sunbury middlesex off the m3/a316 right near kempton

london irish train there and its neatly tucked outside ldn and not with the busy heathrow traffic

Its not ours though , this one is to be ours alone no one else will use the facilities, and the even better news is the academy is to start up agian.

Greenford is what I've heard. Sunbury / London Irish site was looked at a few years ago but believed to be difficult due to local opposition

I cant believe that they have not looked at the old training ground which was a Barclays bank facility. Perfect size with facilities already in place especially when you look at it on google map!!

northolt driving range has recently closed down, we was linked with that site some time ago.

I've herd Northwood Hills , although i can't think of where it would be. The only site i could think of would be Northwood Town FC, and they are in serious trouble and believed to be moving.

Gt Leighs race track is available for redevelopment as been bust for a year or so now.lol

Essex County Cricket Club are seriously sniffing around that Leighsy. They're massively naffed off with Chelmsford Borough Council, Essex CC etc about the restrictions and objections about the redevelopment of the County Ground.

Gt Leighs can't be converted to residential use due to the showground and convenant when built. Big problem and a huge embarrassment for the Council. Ironically the cricket club might dig them out of a hole. Still can't believe Arena Leisure didn't bid or even the BHB. The racing facility had massive potential.
