Slightly dissapointed that we are only playing `seemingly` pub teams in our friendlies. I wont be going to any. surprised we are not playing any league 1 or league 2 sides. surely that should have been a better option? would be a better workk out. Would like to have played a `big team` at home. just a little rant from me. I still think WE CAN win the league with NW at the helm mind you. We need a striker urgently though, and another defender too

I thought we were playing Torquay! And now Plymouth apparentlyLast edited by Hertford Hoop; 13-07-2010, 12:06 PM.I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles -

pre-season games are meant to be an easy way back to match day fitness so i'm not too concerned about the calibre of the opposition - however i am concerned about the calibre of player we're bringing in it's just the same old same old - a poster yesterday did suggest it all looked very "Flabioish" and i personally never thought he would just walk away - so maybe it's another season of mid-table pony again - please please please prove me wrong ! !Comment

Nice for the fans to have a couple of half decent sides to play though.Gives them a chance to see who is gonna be worth booing this season.pre-season games are meant to be an easy way back to match day fitness so i'm not too concerned about the calibre of the opposition - however i am concerned about the calibre of player we're bringing in it's just the same old same old - a poster yesterday did suggest it all looked very "Flabioish" and i personally never thought he would just walk away - so maybe it's another season of mid-table pony again - please please please prove me wrong ! !

Sorry Stan can't agree with you on this one.
Some of the best Comedians have been booed off stage and come back better for it.
These spoilt footballers need to grow some balls mate and deal with it.
We are afterall paying public, I don't actually boo by the way but with some of the lack of effort last season I think the fans were well in there right to express an opinion!I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment

Not a booer either myself mate.
When i am not happy i just shout or keep silent.Don't think booing ever did anyone any good.Booing the team at the end is acceptable, but not individual players.Comment
