Beattie is finished, just after big money. There are a lot better forwards out there for the money he would cost.

not sure that we can get many better forwards than James Beattie...granted haven't seen him play all that much but still, he was near england squad not too long ago

Just goes to show the state of English football if you think he's the best. The trouble is he still wants Premier wages.
