I think its a good thing that no one is that close to what's really going on transferwise. Since warnock took over, not much is being leaked and what we do here is either wrong or out of date. Think it causes frustration though as people want to here of big names we're going to sign.

I dont think it is just because NW has taken over, more to do with the the ownership and responsibilities now.

True. But you agree it's a good thing?

100% and that's why Faurlin's agent saying what he did worries me.

For me warnock's strength as a manager has always been his motivational skills and I don't just mean, getting the players up for the game, I mean getting the best out of the players he has. Some may need and rise to a good rollicking but others like adel need a calmer tone. That's why I'm pretty confident that if warnock wants faurlin to stay he will. I reckon if we don't go up this season he will leave though.

James, there should not be a question of him leaving as he has two years left on his contract. I understand QPR want to tie him up for longer, but for him to leave QPR now is up to QPR not his agent.

Truth be told Faurlin is homesick and missing Argentina.

Though I do believe we improved his contract during the summer

If he is missing Argentina, I suppose more money from a Spanish or Italian team would ease the pain.

That's true paul but if he has 2 years left, and nw is confident that we'll go up with faurlin as a key part of that, we'll have a young player with 1 year left on his contract. Watch the vulchers circle then! If we extend now, we can fob off any approaches and either not sell atall or for right price. Otherwise, we run risk of losing for knock down price come next year or for free in 2 years.

True but if we can only offer £10,000 max a week but a Spanish or Italian team are offering £15,000 a week, with better tax conditions and a better standard of football week in week out, where do yout hink he will go ?
