Out on my delivery this morning and..

Went to deliver a letter to a house when the door opened and out stepped a fella in a WBA shirt. Not my normal round so didnt know the bloke, anyway couldnt resist saying to him about how my team nicked 4 points of the Baggies last season. The fella stopped for a min and then said 'Oh you are QPR then i take it'. 'Yeah i replied'. Anyway he then said' Dont like your manager much but he knows what he's doing, but you've made 1 hell of a signing .....that Derry from Palace' I told the bloke i didnt rate Derry much to which he replied 'Oh great man to stick in centre of midfield, wins tackles all day long'
Now either he knows f all about football or maybe just maybe Warnocks made a clever signing.
Just thought id share that with you all.

I sounds like he was humouring you, because everybody knows the truth about Derry.

Not really that worried about some lazy unemployed West Brom fans opinions on players. I suspect he knows only a fraction more than Crapello!

takes an outsider to call it as it is.............
Derry will be the pivotal cog in our machine next season - sure of it, but only time will tell.

In what machine exactly, the one that churns out pants performances and gives past it players 2 year contracts?

the word "machine" is a figure of speech fyi! ie, not to be taken literally.
we are going to witness rubbish are we? Foresight is a wonderful thing - you indeed are blessed!

No specialist full backs signed,no right midfielder,& no strikers signed of any worth, its gonna be complete dross.

out of interest,do you believe that we have strengthened the squad so far?

yes, Kenny certainly strengthens the squad and good competition for radek,(or probably other way round!) - Derry is a very good addition and imo will surprise a few doubters. Mackie sounds promising! So far ok!!! More to come surely. If not we will see how the season pans out.
