    Enough is enough

IF the 2nd goal had been classified as a goal. The match could have changed completly. During those minutes where the you scored your first Germany was really shaken.
So bottomline here is: Your doom and gloom regarding you national team is just as easy to spot as the the one of other nations.
Do also remember that you played well enough when you had to win the final game in the group stage

You problem is the hype your players are getting every day of the year.

Surely though the goal that was but wasn't should have got them going to win the match!

Wake up! England are not good enough, we had a very poor World Cup even all the friendlys beforehand with Japan and Mexico we were very poor.

It's time to get an English Manager, younger, and turn to our youth for the future.

As far as im concerned, and its just my opinion, yes , the goal might have changed the game.We may not have pushed up so much and left such big gaps at the back.....but then again, I thought germany looked a far better team.Maybe not the finished article..but heading in the right direction....I think squeaky pants time V Argentina as they would have ripped us to pieces.

Wrong players wrong team wrong formation.....end of the day..we looked pretty poor in all 4 games. No passion whatsoever..oh and no real footballing ability...and plan B was to bring on Heskey....

Afraid not an English manager anywhere near calibre we need. Bit like the players really.

Another example of playing reputations or big name players against a younger, fitter, well oiled, well drilled team pulling in the same direction. The outcome will always be the same, with the well oiled, well drilled team winning 95% of the time.

England Team English Manager. Look at all the sides doing well, Germany, Brazil, Argentina etc all have their own national manager. Its the same story with Sven, no passion.

If that means building for a better future team....then i'll take that. But you know that will not accepted by the media or the Fa or by the Fans in general.

Id take a father like say harry or Roy and then a young enlgish manager ..say a Stuart Pearce type....chuck out all the golden era team and start again.

But fans have no patience...QPR fans are the same...so nothing will happen...Cappello stays in charge....same old football same old expectations same old end results.

Nothing will ever change in English football because our problem is getting Lampard and Gerrard to play in the same team and the managers ego in thinking they will be able to do it. Take those over rated clowns out of the team and we would have half a chance and may even help the manager get a better CV than Mike blooooody Bassett.

We didn't just lose the game because of that one poor decision, that is a typical and lame excuse.
We were totally outplayed by a better team and it would have been just another consolation goal.

imo If it wasn't for James Germany would probably have scored many more.

Face it we are just not good enough.

Don't disagree with concept but there just isn't anyone good enough. All the best managers in our league are foreign. Redknapp is usually touted but he is an average Premiership manager who has had the luxury of having loads of money to spend at Spurs and Pompey in his last couple of jobs.

Hodgson has done well at Fulham and has had a distinguished career but lets face it he has not scaled the real heights and I just don't think would have the profile.

For there to be a meaningful change we would need a top, top manager with say a 10 year contract to cast away 90% of what we have and start with a team of hungry youngsters and be given a free reign to do whatever needed. We would probably struggle for a few years before seeing the benefit, hence 10 year contract, but can't see things changing anytime soon. Would need to be a Mourinho or Sir Alex calibre. Anything less will make no difference. Out footballing culture is rock bottom and no signs of it improving.
