IF we get Abrose then Jams and the other palastinians will surely say he is just a one season wonder and we are mugs to buy him. What I would like to see is them eating some humble pie and being completly honest with themselves. But then again, maybe he is a one season wonder and we are mugs etc etc etc zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzComment

Sorry sir, but please just tell me how what I've said is sour grapes? Like some on here have pointed out, the chances are you have only seen Clint Hill, or any other opposition player play, at the most, what, 5 or so times. Even then, I doubt you would have been focussing on his performance, since most supporters care more of their own team than the opposition. The only thing that you really have to go on is the opinion of myself and other supporters-be they Stoke or Palace. If you don't want it, or believe it, then fine, but you will be the only person doing the wrong thing.IF we get Abrose then Jams and the other palastinians will surely say he is just a one season wonder and we are mugs to buy him. Interesting about the Ambrose point-when he looked like he was going to yourselves a week ago I made it clear my view of him, and I still hold that view;so a very odd accusation on your part.Comment

When are we going to start signing some proper players. Not old players in their 30s who are Northerners and from Palace.First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.Comment

Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GOComment

Still think Ambrose will be our player by January at the latest. Palace might want him to stay but there's no mention anywhere of him signing a new contract or contract extension with them so he'll be on a free next summer. Think they might want some money for him and no other offers on the table for him so far.Comment

Where did anything in Jam's post smack of sour grapes? Like most people on here I've only seen him play a handful of times and frankly I can remember virtually nothing about him (don't know whether that's good or bad in a defender). Jams has watched him far more than all of us and to me it read like a fair and balanced assessment: basically that he is a do or die battler but technically limited with age/ fitness an issue.Comment
