In truth average attendances are pretty similar. You had a crest in the PL, and carry a few from that. Wimbledon had bigger crowds than Palace in their PL days - I don't consider Wimbledon to have been a bigger club than Palace.

You have a bigger catchment area certainly, Noades was banging on about 30 years ago but have never been able to capitalise on it. We have a richer history with major trophies, European campaigns and well placed media sources.

I'm afraid Croydon is not sexy for a growing fanbase...

The season ticket sales that we have are the season ticket that we have. . As I understand it , this thread was about how great Norwich season ticket sales are compared to ours. I was just stating the fact that if they had the competition that we had, their sales would be nothing like 20k.
If the thread was about increasing our season ticket sales, then we should buy some players to excite or reduce prices.

Please dont make out you are London's answer to Real Madrid, you are an average club with a decent enough fan base for where you are (division/location)
