I watched Danns for a season, you watched Tarrabt for a season.

Palace fans will say Danns is better, QPR fans will say Tarrabt is better...

come on he aint even kicked a ball for us yet! He will be a great leader and a great influence in the dressing room. He will get my backing as will ever player who come out in the hoops first game of the season.

How do you know he will ever pay football again to the same level he did before his injury ? Derry is a good signing in many ways, including showing the other players what NW demands in training and in matches. I would not be surprised if he was made el capitan.

Danny Butterfield scored a perfect hattrick in 6 minutes this season.

Is he a world class striker? No, he's a versatile defender.

may I suggest that Tarrabt is more skillful, but Danns is a more useful player. That's to say that Tarrabt is a "highlights" player.

I think if you asked Championship Managers who they would rather have, 20/24 would pick Taarabt.

                            Far superior player.

Mahon started 5 times last year, injury prone. Derry played 53 times for Palace last season
