Important info and poll about Palace and other fans on here

Since Warnock's departure from Crystal Palace, there has been an increase in the number of 'away supporters' posting on We Are The Rangers Boys. This has resulted in banter between fans, some of which has, as we have seen today, got way out of hand.

This is our dilemma: at the end of the day, we are a Queens Park Rangers website and we don't really want to see Rs fans getting banned after having been provoked by an 'away supporter'. On the other hand, banter between supporters of different clubs can be a good thing: it provokes discussion and can liven up the atmosphere.

So, we're asking you to help us out here. As far as we can see, we have three options:

Option One

Keep the situation as it is. Allow fans from Crystal Palace and other clubs to post on all areas of the message board.

Option Two

Ban all fans from other clubs. Make WATRB a strictly 'QPR-only' message board.

Option Three

Create a new section for banter between QPR fans and other supporters. All other areas of WATRB would be 'QPR fans only'.

3, but if you do decide to go for 1, you need to keep a lid on them and the way they talk to us QPR fans. Or as ive already expressed you'll only end up banning the real people this board was designed for.

Perhaps you should also take note of the way that some of our fans talk to fans from other clubs......

It's a messageboard and as far as I can tell an open one (perhaps we should ask new members for their membership number or season ticket?)

The thing about messageboards is that they are all about debate, and that is a two way thing. Certain people on this and other boards seem incapable of debating a subject and descend into name calling and threats.

Let's all keep in civil! that way the board will be a good place to visit and who knows we might even learn something from fans from other clubs......
