  • Confront the players to get the message across..

I know there's another Beckham thread but my point is a slightly different perspective. In that, modern day players are so far removed from reality and protected by minders that perhaps this is the only way of getting the message over. Ok, so ideally the guy would have been venting his spleen to a player who was involved in such a debacle.... this way they will see how much it really matters to real folk who have paid a fortune when the meatheads on the pitch earn more in those 90mins what the fans have scrimped and scraped in-order to follow their team............

I won't bother ranting and raving about how dire we were as we all know that but there are so many worries.. C.rapello can hardly be understood so how must it be for the players when he's barking out excitable pigeon Enghlished tirades during the match... he does seem to be extremely intransigent and arrogant....

The Scots and Welsh must be lapping this up.............. hideous thought that loads of Scots are enjoying our pain.............:rage:

We've naively been sucked in again by believing we had a chance with these players.

We had a better squad 4 years ago and look at the dross they served up.

Confront the players? Spit in their faces more like. Frauds.

forget beckham a fan was in first

      Fan enters England dressing room
The Football Association has made a complaint to World Cup organisers Fifa after a fan breached security and entered the England dressing room.

The incident came after England's 0-0 draw with Algeria in Group C at the Cape Town Stadium.

The intruder was escorted out shortly after a "few verbals" but the incident has angered the security-conscious FA.

"This is not acceptable and thankfully no serious harm was done," read an FA statement on Friday evening.

Princes William and Harry, who have been on a tour of southern Africa, were in attendance in Cape Town and had been present in the dressing room after the match.

However, both members of the Royal family had left the dressing room by the time of the security breach.

"There is a lot of Fifa security in the stadium but unfortunately one fan got through all of that and managed to get into the dressing room after the game but thankfully no real harm other than a few verbals," said Adrian Bevington, managing director of Club England.

The FA will expect security to be watertight as England head to Port Elizabeth for their final Group C match against Slovenia on Wednesday 23 June.

"Thankfully no real damage done but we got to make sure this can't happen again for us or for any other team," added Bevington.

"It's not our security people's fault, they do a sterling job wherever they go. I'm sure Fifa will accept responsibility for this and we have to make sure it doesn't happen again."

England's travelling fans showed their displeasure with their team's efforts by booing them off the pitch at the end of their second group game.

Striker Wayne Rooney looked into a TV camera and said: "Nice to see your own fans booing you, that's what loyal support is".

Wayne, see what happens when you don't play well and you are not playing for a team that know each other week in week out and cover for you (as at man u), being talentless shows, grow up, the thought that he was in the running for captain as a leader is laughable. (Typical childish rant after the game, just what I would of expect from him).

Ok I know the rest of the team was crap too, but Rooney just gets my goat.

I'd love to see it yes, but we must be serious here.

I think that Prince William has more chance of waking up tomorrow with a full head of hair like his half-brother Harry than we have of winning the WC.........

The 'Royal Command Performance' has always thrown up some good talent in the past, but last nights one in South Africa was hilarious.
