wife accepted an invitation to a drinks party. hosts are posh twazzocks. kind of people who probably prefer "ruger" to football. Threating not to go. All my mates in the village have a big bbq planned, had two barrels of larkins ale delivered and they'll be watching a giant tv screen. Then afterwards it will be off to the Wheatsheaf for a top up. Meanwhile I'll be stuck next to some old gadget in a floral dress telling me about the joys of the f****g Chelsea Flower Show.
