If We Were To "Nick" A Championship manager

    Who would you choose?

Bearing in mind, managers out of a job, are normally out of a job for a reason.

I've included managers, that may or may not go up this season.

Voted for Martinez but wouldn't be adverse to Sean O'Driscoll either

On paper QPR must be more attractive than a lot of other clubs in the championship but if you had a secure job in bristol or swansea wd you take your kids out of school, move to london etc knowing the odds are you will be unemployed in three months. I can well believe the board has had 30 odd applications as Pete said elsewhere but I'd be v interested to know how many of them were in work.

Wouldn't need to take the kids out of school, just rent a flat for the three months and go back to Wales / Bristol and buy a village with the payoff

If anybody went to the home game v swansea would see martinez is like sousa to much passing not enough conviction,he plays 1 upfront aswell, why would u want him? one of the easiest 3 points this season against his mob,we need a manager with passion, johnson is the man

agree both managers have done well with limited budgets (like us) but play the right way too

I voted Martinez, looks decent enough.
                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

I'm guessing we have interviewed O'Driscoll for the job?

9 years of experience who knows this league, plays decent looking football and has taken a small team (Donny) up from League One last year to finishing just 3 points behind us this year. He no doubt knows that he can't take Doncaster much further (doesn't have the funding) and would love the chance to manage a bigger side.

I am surprised Coyle got so few votes.Done a great job at Burnley,as has Irvine at Preston.Either of them would be my choice out of those options.

O'Driscoll is a good shout though.Plays good football at Doncaster.
