Think you are right that we were forced to buy the beer as no other choice - but it seems now it's an official deal for a six figure sum - which it would be good to see spent on the playing side for once.

It was carlsberg before, they're just renewing....the bit i didn't like was "carlsberg will now be the sole suppliers of alcohol in the ground" does this mean no more magners available??

Carlsberg in the ground last year was £3.60 for a 500ml bottle. Not even a pint. :angry:

They serve(d) bottles of Becks and Bud in the Platinum bar, hopefully this will see a move to draught beer as I'm not a fan of spending £3.50 on 330ml of bad lager, I'd rather a pint of bad lager for the same price. ;)
