    Chopra

Now I know people will say it would be wrong for us to pay 4.2 million for this player, but for me I ask why?

Ipswich town are breaking the bank to sign him, so why are we at least not in the hunt?

The guy is proven and class at this level. Over the last few season he has proven to score over 20 goals. He is just the type of striker we have been crying out for. Yes I know wages would be big but I think the rewards would be much bigger. I know its not going to happen, so does that make Ipswich town, a much bigger club with more ambition? I don't even hear spin coming out from them. We are paying decent prices to watch down LR so I think we should stop the talking and spend the money that is required to mount a serious promotion bid.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Two reasons why we wont go for him and players like him.
      1) He is a proven goalscorer in the CCC.
      2) He will cost a lot of money.

Well he's a proven player at this level that will get you 15 to 20 goals per season. It's what every club wants which is why he's a high price.

Really, we should had kept Blackstock as he was the only player with potential.

Maybe this might give a clue why Ipswich are possibly "splashing" a few quid on Chopra....

Even if we got 10 mil for a player I doubt whether we would spend 4.2 mil of it anyway

why not, we arent getting two pennies to rub together for our ramshackle lot we are clearing out, and we are going to spend near on ten million.
i reckon we will pay around that for a striker before the season starts.
