All this talk of new signings

People seem to think we need to sign an entire team. Warnock has proved that he can get the best out of underachievers in the past so why not with the players we already have? The backroom team will really work the squad pre season and drill the work ethic into them. Admittedly we have been crying out for a goal machine or two for a fair few seasons and I hope this is addressed. But I think players like vine, buzsaky, Stewart and cook who didn't have great seasons or look fit could be much better with a warnock pre season behind them.

based on last season what we need are following:

    GK

    RB CB CB LB

    RW LW

    CF CF

In defence only one really worth keeping is Connolly, Gorkks good on his day but too inconsistent and the same with Stewart.

We have lost Taarabt and sold Routledge. Cookie was starting to come good so I agree I hope they persevere, not convinced on Hogan week in week out. Up front really was QP ha ha ha. Simpson aside we were woeful. The two we have bought as squad players but we need two more at least one of which should be a quality proven goal scorer.

In all NW does need virtually a new team. Only place we don't particularly need anyone is central midfield particularly if Buzz does rediscover his magic.

Makes you wonder what the clowns who were running this football club were thinking at the time.

Utter shambles we were, and deserve all the stick they get, from now 'til eternity. Amateurs.

And it's made the task of turning us into a cohesive unit, with spirit and commitment even harder for the poor sods who are trying to turn it around this summer.

This is the problem, they seem to tarnished by previous regimes mistakes.

If Hill and Derry sign and presuming the following players leave; Helguson, Agyemang, Vine, Pelicori, Alberti, Hall, Mahon and Rowlands is stil injured, a possible starting 11 is:

                ---------------- Kenny --------------
                Leigertwood -- Hill -- Gorkss -- Connolly
                ---------------- Derry ---------------
                ------ Buzsaky --- Faurlin -- Cook -----
                ---------Mackie --- Clarke ------------

Subs: Cerny - Ramage - Stewart - Ephraim - German and two other new signings.
