Jeeses, we're on the 9th of June! Warnock just said he wanted 2 more strikers. Patience

I just want to see a decent striker mate. I think Warnock can work the oracle because he has worked with these players before, but I'm not excited just yet.

Think we will see the potentially better players come in July. Warnock has already indicated most transfers are done then.

Mick Jones also said that the good plays prob wont be tied up until the players are back for pre season, july is the time when things will start happening.
        They seek him here.................

These signings are like typical Rangers ones. We just seem to accept mediocrity. People need to aim high and hoefully get something decent. It's like when you're younger and you're on the pull. If you're a good looking lad you know you could score with a decent bird, but because you can't be bothered to put in the graft you end up with some rotter. Just like Rangers. We are linked with quality players but yet again we end up with northern 30 something dross with no pace like Derry and Hill.

I can't contain my excitement for August 6th.

Not sure why we're all getting worked up tbh. The likes of Shawn Derry and Clint Hill ARE the type of players, that Warnock wants and that OUR board will sign. We need to accept this. I have.

Burnley last year and Blackpool this year prove thats wrong. What you need is a well balanced, hard working team all pulling in the right direction with lady luck on your side. We have had none of that for ages, but I bet we do next season.

And look what happened to Burnley/Hull last year and WILL happen to Blackpool next season.
We need a team that will be able to step up to the premiership with minimal disruption, so Buzz/Taraabt could do that...Shawn Derry would be so out of depth it would be embarrasing.

It takes a certain type of player to get OUT of the championship and a certain type of player to stay IN the Premiership and is the reason why average players should be put on 2 year deals and not 4.

Burnley will come down and compete at the highest level in the CCC, as they did not go 'large' last season and have cash to buy the players they need to get promoted again, Hull wont. The finances in football are changing every day and the good times finished for the majority of teams, last season. The new phrase now is "within our means", so fans better understand what that means and accept it.

I am saying we need a leader, yes, but there are other players who can lead and play the defensive mid role who are better players than Derry.

He is not a top 6 side midfielder.

I don't know where all this "Derry is a leader" has come from. Where is the proof of this. Everyone is of the opinion that he is slow and average at best. I really hope that he is just for the bench next season. Is he a better leader than Gavin Mahon or Martin Rowlands ?
