    Chopra / Austin / Stead....

    ..in the Daily Mail today...

Ipswich to increase their offer for Chopra to £4.2m,Cardiff likely to accept to fund buying Austin from Swindon and Ipswich will sell Stead to Huddersfield.

Obviously Ipswich mean business next season, good luck to them IF they are willing to back Keane with that kind of spending

Interesting that some were suggesting Stead for us and he is, according to this report, destined for Huddersfield.

            no ambition?
yet to see any true commitment...

Agree wd like to see more ambition but over £4m for a championship striker is crazy money. He's v good, but not that good.

More like Keane panicking. He has form paying over the odds for mediocre players. Chopra is good at this level but 4million -

Well maybe thats the going rate for a striker these days, especially as wages have gone up it all goes in line.

Perhaps Hooper at £2.5m is a bargain

our lot like a bargain...but only under a million it seems.
reckon we ought to get another whip round going?
