He would be a good signing if we don't get Ambrose. I'd imagine that we'd play a front 3 next season with either Ambrose or Smith on the right hand side, Mackie on the left and a front man.Comment

Look at it this way,
Smith is proven at this level, he isn't a Premiership player but his level is Championship, he will score you goals and at £500k you can't complain, thats cheap even in this market.Comment
