Met him at St Marys a couple of years ago, really nice bloke, me and mate told him we were QPR, he spent a good 10 minutes chatting to us about Loftus Road and all things QPR.

          Tarbs reminds me of him.

He was extremely skilled - some of the tricks I remember him doing where similiar to that done these days he loved nutmegs.

          He scored some great goals.

He was a standout player for a number of games I saw during a bad year. Maybe 78/79 when we were relegated.

Martyn Busby played well that year but wasn't that liked.

I thought Rachid was good player but like Tarbs an individual.

Rachid aka Spider was a character but he was not a class act at Rangers. He was well thought of at Palace. His time co-incided with relegation in 1978/9 which was a pretty depressing time - only brightened by the emergnce of Clive Allen and Paul Goddard. He would help make up the Rangers Villains X1 though as he was done for passing forged $s!
