I agree and yesterday there were three players we should look at getting from the lower leagues and they were IMO in the following order.

1) Billy Paynter (Swindon) Signed by Leeds
2) Adam Lallana (Southampton)
3) Adam Le Fondre (Rotherham)

This guy scored goals for fun last season - and I for one would be happy to have him in W12.

I honestly wouldn't care about Billy Paynter, been told by many League 1 fans that he is overrated and Charlie Austin is the quality striker out of the two!

Would much prefer Lallana over Le Fondre but i wouldn't mind either in all fairness, reckon both could do some sort of a job at LR!

It would not surprise me if Paynter is the top scorer in the Championship next season and I am sure if Austin, Le Fondre and Lallana were at a championship club, they would all be in the top 10 scorers.

Paynter is a beast. I'm not his biggest fan, but you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him, that's for sure. He looks like he could kill you with a stare.

Thought he was closer to 40 goals? Superb player but Saints don't need to sell.
