To be fair, he had a medical and agreed to join us. That's as good a 'done deal' as you'll get, so you can hardly have a pop at Pete on this one. His concience must have gotten the better of him.

I am quite sure, that if Palace were doomed, he would have done everything including a medical and agreeing terms, so the money transfer could go through immediately, if the deal was going to be done.

The administrator stated yesterday afternoon, that if a deal to save the club was not reached, then Ambrose would have been sold to QPR. Now it seems that Palace are financially sound, so now they don't have to sell their best players.
