After last year, where we did not go for Jermaine Beckford or Simon Cox, the three people we should be looking to bring to W12 IMO are :
          1) Adam Lallana (Southampton)
          2) Billy Paynter (Swindon)
          and then

          3) Adam Le Fondre (Rotherham)

If we can't, we surely lack ambition.

His Wiki page mentions his workrate, so he's clearly not the new Rodney Marsh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_le_Fondre

Paynter would be a decent squad player, scores plenty of goals...just what we need for a long season

Lallana, Paynter and Le Fondre do something our current crop of wanabe strikers dont do that often and thats scoring goals, lots of them. They also have something to prove by stepping up, instead of failed bums stepping down a league.
