Just repeating what I've heard and I can't vouch that it's gospel, but here goes.

What I heard was that Ambrose does not want to Leave Palace but the administrators want to sell so they have funds to keep the club afloat for another month. CPFC 2010, the supporters trust who are trying to buy the club are extremely unhappy that what they see as their prize asset is going to be sold to London rivals on the cheap and are threatening to withdraw their bid to save the club if the deal goes ahead.

All sounds a bit dramatic I know, but it certainly would explain a lot!

I heard that Ambrose completed a medical and they are waiting for the dots and the t's t make it official.

Also, that Derry is now in advanced talks.

Clint Hill has signed but that won't be confirmed yet.

You have to remember all these players contracts end July 1st thats why you don't get all thse official confirmations

Understand all that Pete,but we're not waiting for Ambrose contract to be up,we're buying him so that should'nt make any difference,for a done n dusted deal it is certainly taking some time,i think there has to a problem as palarse were desperate for the cash ????

Totally agree with you here. Ambrose will not give 100%, just be another source of income for him. He can stay at Palace. Give Anthoni German a chance, he is well up for it... and costs nothing.
