It was more sarcastic than serious, I just hope we get him.

My mate text me saying the deal is all agreed, but the Palace consortium are threatening to pull out if they sell him. Not sure what to make of that. He also mentioned that we're definately bidding for Kenny.

Why would they pull out? The sale of DA gives them more time to get a deal agreed with SJ.

If it's a fans consorti, they probably want to keep their best players, I'd imagine?

Under normal circumstances of course, but a team in Admin who are days/weeks away from being liquidated aren't really in a position to argue the sale of 1 player if it helps keep the club going.

Well, their alternative appears to be to give the club they are so worried about the money to keep it going.
Full of blustering and BS if you ask me; they either want to save the club or not and, as said earlier, one player
should not make a difference to their bidding.

                    If £750,000 was accepted.

                    Forest are not stupid.

                    Why would they bid more?

Business logic and additionally considering they would hardly spend in January and have already signed Majewski for a million can't see them spending big anyway.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.
