Surely there are much better left-backs out there than Clint Hill. OK they might not be free, but you get what you pay for. The same goes fof donkey Derry !!!

FFS Clint Hill I thought he was looking at him as a centre back.

The bloke is so slow and is shite at left back, I don't care that Warnock is god, if he signs him as a left back then thats a very average to poor left back, ffs lets look for a quality left back with some pace.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

im sure warnock will do whats right. I wonder what he means by needing to sorting one or 2 things out this week? Ambrose and someone else maybe? I have got a feeling of some good signings to be made soon? Im sure he knows that clarke, mackie Hill and Ambrose arent enough for promotion, hes already said himself that we arefar away from Newcastle and West Brom. I believe we will see some quality soon

Maybe Hill isn't being brought in as a left back and the journalist has assumed that he is. Maybe Hill isn't being brought in as a first choice left back and he'll be deputy to a natural left back whilst providing cover to the centre backs. Maybe it's 28th May and by the opening day of the season Warnock will have assembled his squad.

Maybe we should wait and see. The 7th August is a long way away.

Especially as the football season hasn't even ended yet.

Seems to me like mr warnock has everything under control. Like the fact he's spoken to speroni "early doors" and he's looking at other options in goal, the offer for speroni is there it's up to him, if he goes elsewhere then fine we'll go sign someone who wants to be here. Hope we do get speroni but I guess we will just have to wait.

                  I trust neil warnock 100%

not too bothered about the goalkeeping position. even if we are left with cerny that's absolutely fine by me. but left back and up front are two areas we have been chronically weak for too long.

Quantity is almost as important as quality.

Let's hope the quality comes soon!

that means if speroni did decide to join us he'll have waited until just before the season starts. i don't mind that if we've got cerny there anyway, except if speroni doesn't come we'll have a pretty rubbish selection to choose from for back-up by then.

also i don't mean to tell the bloke how to do his job (LOL) but does warnock really need to be looking at THIRTY players? looks like he's having to cut his cloth according to a budget rather than go for the obvious quality....
