                              Donkey? Hardly, look at his scoring record for England, not the best player in the team, but impossible to mark and IMO the best person to partner Rooney if he wants to play with 2 strikers!

                                      I like crouch.....Worrying for England IMO mexico raped them without winning. If a team like mexico (decent) can do it, Imagine what Holland Spain Brasil Italy Germany etc will do to them.

                                          it was a weakened and experimental line up, and players didnt want to get injured. It'll be a very different England in SA.

                                                      better than a goal every two games for England - hardly a donkey. Would you rather Heskey started?

                                                      Also - some major failures last night. Carrick was utterly diabolical, suprised he didn't get more of a slating. Baines - weak. King was poor, forget the goal. Rio was poor...entire defence and midfield was poor.....! Walcott would be great if he could control or pass a ball.

                                                      Rooney had no service. It was better when Gerrard started to remember how to play football.....but we are a long way from contenders at the moment - but that changes during a tourney - we just need some results under our belts.

                                                      I HATE to say this, but we missed the Chelsea players last night. Gerrard has had a poor season and I think Lamps should take his slot now.

                                                          Completely agree, carrick was the stand out poor performer from last night. I really hope he's not seen as replacement for barry, he shouldn't even be in squad! I'd prefer a one-legged hargreaves
