I wouldnt say clarke is my dream signing but we need to have a little more patience!!

I dunno why im bothering because one 2 bob post from me isnt gonna change the mindset of a entire fanbase.

But, quality players dont just come at the drop of a hat!! Clubs are lookign for the best deals they can get, time.....

NW is building a squad for promotion. The likes of our 2 'relegated' signings may not even make the bench. NW will bring in up to 10 players imo, some for Carling Cup and FA Cup games, the others to win us promotion. Look at the bigger picture. Expect to see mackie ad Clarke on a cold Octobers night at Rochdale in the cup, they wont make our championship bench

warnocks just doing it a bit backwards. if he got hooper, beattie, maynard (insert whoever you want here) first, and then got these unlikely heroes (mackie, clarke) aftewardsr, people would be a bit more obliging, and more positive words might come through.
at the moment, i think most people (i am) are crapping ourselves that its gonna be same old same old and these are our 'star' signings and we gotta hope and pray they come good.

Frankly yes, slightly peeved off, but it's VERY early days.
Clarke feels less than inspiring but NW is honest about it and thinks he'll be a useful addition. Certainly he knows more about him than me, and most of us.
He cost nothing and only 2 years. That'salready a better deal than Agyemang, and I think a better strike rate.
