    Did anyone see Ambrose before his Palace days??

    he was average at best at both Newcastle and Charlton.

    this is, by my reckoning, his only good season. maybe he's blossomed as a player or under the guidance of Warnock, or maybe he's had his Michael Rickett's season?

      He was quite prominent at Ipswich - big money transfer to Newcastle (didn't meet the standard) down to Charlton (ok'ish) back to Ipswich (average) on to Palace (decent).

      Always overrated IMO.

            But Him,Best and Makie can very well get a combined tally of 34 goals next season though. Ok, forgive for being a tad optimistic now.
