Well that slim ( and there's a word you won't see often in a discussion of Leon Clarke) hope that this might all be a wind up evaporates.

Has someone else's fingerprints all over it IMO.

        I'll leave it at that.

"I think he's got a lot of ability, but I think he's underachieved. I rate him very highly though.

"Some people will be surprised at this signing, but he's a player I've fancied for a very long while and I'm delighted we've got him on board."

"I think his career is at a crossroads and only time will tell if I'm the Manager who can unleash what I believe is inside him as a player," he told www.qpr.co.uk.

the thing about warnock though going back to when he was at sheff united he signed about 10 strikers a season and 9 of them would be donkeys

Has he ever reached double figures in a season (let alone at this level)?

No surprise - Warnock has always said we lack a presence up front - 6' 2" 25 year old free transfer on a 2 year contract - yes released by a relegated club, but relegated clubs have to drastically reduce their wage bill. Nothing to lose by this signing, hasn't delighted me, but hey ho I'm not the manager!

Nope but he scored more and at a better rate than Ched on the bus Evans did last season.

That for me means 'Seeing as i have a pretty big transfer kitty, some people will be surprised at this signing'.
                        Might not be though!

                          Leon Clarke...

Look on the bright side....he's signed a 2 year deal instead of a the usual 4 year deal so we can release him when we get to the Prem in 2 years time :drunk:

                              looks like a Paladini signing...

just wonder if we paid a fee plus a 30k add on then we'll know for sure..
