      James79 - I want some of what you're on mate. That goes beyond "glass half full"/"every cloud has a silver lining"/"could be worse"/ "worse things happen at sea" stuff straight into Class A fuelled optimism. Well done. That actually made me laugh (and I have been scowling for the last hour or so since I learnt of Leon's arrival) so thanks for that.

        A reply from Wavey Dave - my Sheff Wed supporting pal - about Leon Clarke - makes interesting reading!

        ''Well.. what can I say about Leon Clarke. Fairly lazy and overweight (relatively speaking).. he can be explosive up front and occasionally scores worldy's. If I tell you that his final goal was in the last match against Palace.. he muscled his way past the right back on the corner of the box.. ran into the box and expertly placed the ball past the keeper into the far corner.. wheeled away in front of the sold out Kop.. punched the air in pumped up excitement and kicked out at an advertising hoarding.. breaking his big toe and had to be stretchered off in agony never to play for us again.. I think that might give you an idea about the lad. However.. if anyone can knock him into shape it's old whingy Warnock. He could do really well but I don't think he's the kind of player you'll enjoy watching to be honest. Like I say.. NW is a law unto himself and he could be the making of him.. plus you won't have paid owt for him.''

          Have to admit, the three kings we've signed doesn't really excite me and are not really the answer to gain promotion. We need Quality not quantity in average players. We might as well play Agyemang, Hall, Ramage and Leighterwood every game.

            Unless he actually spends some money and BUYs someone that a club doesnt want to shift of their wage bill, a sI have said before, expect a mid to lower table finish.

                Jeez, this really is the muppet show. Thrust the gaffer on his words;

                HE WANTED TO SIGN CLARK WHEN HE WAS MANAGER AT PALACE. And besides 50 % percent of the Wednesday supporters actually rates him.

                    You've already made up your mind where we will finish next season?
