Please someone tell me this hasnt actually happened; WE HAVE JUST SIGNED A RESERVE STRIKER FROM A RELEGATED SHEFF WEDS SIDE, NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO START FOR THEM ON A REG BASIS.

I trust Neil but have to say this signing is very dissapointing. Sheffield Wednesday season ticket holder laughed when I told him we are signing Clarke.

Agree Agyemang better. Suddenly all sorts are back in the frame. We'll need Helgur back from Watford. 8 goal a season Mackie in or behind the front line. And this may explain all those cameo appearances vine was getting at the end of the season. I thought he was being watched - put in the shop window even - at the time. Seems he is Leon Clarke's strike partner. Whoo Hoo.

I'm not sure why QPR have to wait for a good player's contract to end before signing him. Why not offer a good fee to clubs who have good players still under contract i.e. Hooper, Ambrose, Taarabt, etc rather than wait to sign players on 'Bosman' frees?
