Ambrose is not even worth a £750k bid because he only has a year left on his deal. I'd offer around £600K or less.

Palace need funds urgently to pay the wages. And just as QPR sold Cook
to Fulham, Parrett to Spurs or Crouch to Portsmouth to pay the taxman and bills, Palace will have to sell their saleable players unless they can find money elsewhere by the middle of next week.

of all the palace boys i wanted him least, feel he had a bit of a fluke season this year and can't see him in the same team as buzz... still happy to have him fighting for a place at £750k though.... onwards and upwards...

I think Rowlands age and the fact he has had 2 serious injuries in the last 2 years alone will probably put pay to that statement.

Rowlands has scored nearly as many for QPR as Ambrose has in his whole career. For what it's worth, he'll do well for us as NW got the best out of him, but Rowlands is still a better player when he gets going.

Yes he has but he also has an extra few years of playing over Ambrose, and most of those goals were scored in a lower division than Ambrose has played in.

I hope Rowly can come back and make an impact though, of course.
