      Plus a couple of other managers wanted him in January, one being Strachan if I remember rightly

        I'm OK to give him the benefit and welcome him on board. And I agree with Goddard (though of course both managers have a vested interest in talking him up as the new Messi - one to nudge up the price and the other to show what a shrewd deal he's done). But let's see.

        A Plymouth mate of mine wasn't mortified at his loss but said he can do a job and puts a shift in. If he came in for around the £500k mark (as is rumoured) that's about all you can expect. And more than we've had from many on more!
