So, you're telling me that Lopez is a Paladini signing???
Well played Gianni if that's true, but let's not get carried away; the fact that this board seems to think that we need to get rid of 10 or so 'dead wood' players tells its own story in terms of the transfer policies success stories over the last couple of years...:anger:

            1) Anti-pro GP things will be moderated to make sure previous BS arguments dont clog the board.

            2) Lopez was Sousa's signing - source? GP

Can't say i have been overly impressed with Lopez until todays goal.Way too many free-kicks and corners are wasted.

And Bristol City was chanting he was useless everytime he wasted a chance.

Looks to have potential but will he turn out to be another Helguson once he gets a nice long.fat contract?.

Lopez has nothing to prove to us...he's already won the UEFA cup for Sevilla...Its not a suprise that his true class has taken a little longer to come out..especially as he wasen't playing a lot of football before he joined us..he can only get better

Lopez is having to do all the dead ball stuff because without buz, vine and rowly there are a lack of obvious alternatives. I'm one of Leg's biggest fans, but even I wouldn't call him a dead ball specialist. Think we will start to appreciate him alongside more skillful players and he can sit in the Makele holding role.
BTW leaving the ground I heard Sousa interviewed on Radio London and he quite pointedly said was delighted Lopez had such a gd game because he was his choice.

Lopez put some great balls in today, even tho before he did always go near post - hopefully he's been told to change it. We look miles better with him instead of mahon as well - at least he can make a 5 yard pass

Does look to have the ability to be a good player. It's just the many poor corner's and free-kicks that frustrates me.

Lopez was Sousa's choice - Miller was GP's - nuff said...

The sooner we let Sousa have a free hand the better GP's record for signining players leaves an awful lot to be desired - moderate away if you feel it necessary but the truth is out there...

A tad over-protective of the man is it not?
