  • How the election effects QPR..........

Recent boundary changes saw the old constituency of Hammersmith and Fulham broken up into just 'Hammersmith' and 'Chelsea & Fulham.'

Under the old system QPR was in a Tory held constituency.

The new constituency has been won by Labour.

The Tories in the area have been making a huge push to knock down lots of the social housing like the White City and West Ken estates and to move the residents to others parts of London.

They wanted the land used for other things like private housing and maybe which has been mentioned a few times, a new ground for QPR on the site of the White City.

All very interesting. But nationally it looks as if the Tories will govern in a minority government and we may see some changes to the surrounding area of QPR.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Alan Johnson to lead a lib lab pact! He's Rangers and as PM could legislate us back to the prem. Might be our best hope! And throw Abramovich out of the country whilst he's at it. Should do for the filth.

Good egg Andy Slaughter has been re-elected as the Labour MP in this constitency but The Borough has returned a tory Council, however three councilors around HQ are labour. But Hammermsith and Fulham remains a conservative council, so no changes at all.

But Andy Slaughter will put up a fight to knock down large parts of social housing in the area.

Don't think Andy Slaughter is against social housing, but the local council are (Conservative Council). Check this out...

That's what I said. He will put up a fight to NOT knock it down. He is Labour.

The Tory council do want to knock it down.
